The Undercroft Pizzeria and Ristorante is situated in the Visitor Centre which runs the complete length of the Cathedral from East to West. This space was known as the Undercroft and formed the basement to the Auberge d’Allemagne, the home of the German Knights of Malta in the 16th Century. It has beautiful joined arches and the walls are made of honey coloured Maltese stone. The Undercroft Pizzeria and Ristorante offers everything from your favourite speciality coffee to a wide range of Italian home-made traditional dishes, delicious cakes and pastries, and a broad selection of wines and organic olive oil. The Undercroft Pizzeria and Ristorante will organise and cater for private events, business meetings, conferences, art exhibitions….just bring your idea to us and we will do our creative best for you.
